Loans

Bank
Charges Reclaim Banks have
in many cases made arbitrary charges which bear no resemblance
to the costs they have incurred. We have a means for you to
reclaim past charges where you have been unfairly treated.
Debt
Management When we have
reviewed your reclaim position and your finances are still not
manageable we will discuss whether it is appropriate for you to
consider a Debt Management Programme (DMP). This would
entail you allowing us to negotiate an agreement with your
creditors so that you can pay what you can afford not what they
are demanding. Entering a DMP means that you will be
expected to comply with its terms and work through to a
satisfactory conclusion that commonly results in a fair
repayment to your creditors in return for a write off of some
debts and a freezing of further interest.
IVA
and Bankruptcy For some a
DMP may not be appropriate as the indebtedness may require more
action. An IVA (Independent Voluntary Arrangement) is a
formal agreement between your creditors where you will be
required to repay a fixed amount over a 5 year period. Bankruptcy
is where your assets are taken over and managed by a Trustee in
Bankruptcy. Usually you will be discharged after one year but
your credit rating will be severely impaired for the next 6
years.
